Review

One of the earlier White Stripes albums still holds up well. I think it is important to listen to this band in order of albums as they slowly get better especially with this one right here, De Stijl, is much better than there debut album though not quite as good as there upcoming work.

The highlights of the album is definitely from "Hello Operator" to "I'm Bound to Pack It Up", after that it slows down really for the rest though picks up a bit with "Jumble, Jumble" and "Let's Build a Home". But really other than the last song, "Your Sothern Can is Mine", which I don't like, De Stijl is solid. There are some nice riffs and a few good vocal songs but nothing that is just "excellent", the highest rated track is Apple Blossom and Pack it Up with a 4.4.

Overall it's worth a listen if you want to get into the White Stripes, I'd personally say to even skip there debut album and start with this one.
